Projects include a major redevelopment of a nuclear registered pharmaceutical site. Particular attention has been made to the front of the site ensuring high levels of security, whilst minimising visual effects for staff, clients and the general public. Plans for state of the art laboratories are also currently being reviewed with a view of improving image and profile, and attracting bright young academics. Other projects include comprehensive monitoring of ground water contamination and liquid effluent, working in conjunction with the Environment Agency. Currently under review is a feasibility study for a partial subterranean storage facility for radio-active waste. This facility will include specialist monitoring systems and a ventilation stack. This facility compliments an adjacent facility designed and constructed by INTEC in 1999.
