As well as the construction of a new 180 cell block, the works comprise refurbishment of the existing infrastructure, Education, Administration and Management facilities.
The new house block was completed for occupation in April 2004 with other facilities being completed sequentially during 2004 and early 2005.
INTEC have been supported throughout the design and construction period by HMPS appointed architects, engineers and cost consultants and have provided, from in-house resources, a resident site team.
