 INTEC Management began its long standing relationship with Cellnet in 1996 (now known as O2) and has since worked on over 3500 sites across large areas of England and Wales. As lead consultants we managed the site development from nomination to service delivery and integration.
Within two years our appointment had been extended to include the burgeoning number of shared sites. Based on this success, the contract was further extended to include the lucrative M25 Region where O2 urgently required additional capacity. Of key importance were a significant number of rooftop sites in central London where innovative solutions were required, many on high profile buildings.
INTEC monitored the build process from nomination to handover of all its South and M25 sites. Seeing each site from the standpoints of both acquisition and service delivery allowed the development and implementation of a much-improved monitoring system, leading to a more efficient build process.
More recently, INTEC has successfully used an acquisition joint venture to improve O2's 3G coverage in the South West. With new sites becoming increasingly difficult to find, it was essential to develop innovative solutions on complex builds and utilise the latest available equipment wherever possible. |
